We were established in 1974 and have been working hard across south and mid Wales ever since to deliver our vision. This is to provide affordable homes and support sustainable communities with excellent services to tenants.
We try to fulfil our vision in a variety of ways, from building and managing affordable homes to providing support and services for tenants and the communities we serve. Whatever we do we remain true to our values of transparency, sustainability, equality and excellence.
We operate as a group of organisations to ensure that each element of our work is well managed and governed with clear relationships. Our group structure means that we can be flexible and have the ability to grow and thrive.

Charitable rules
Owns and manages 3,000 homes for affordable rent and low-cost home ownership as well as a range of community regeneration initiatives
Newydd Maintenance Limited
Living Quarters (Lettings & Sales) Wales Limited
The main function of the group is to support the work of Newydd Housing Association. Newydd is our public facing brand and has a comprehensive website with lots of information on our work.
